LeFilDou is a social project by women, for girls.
By women, because a strong team of knitters, including female inmates knits all their pieces. They put their heart and soul into knitwear and being part of this project boosts their feeling of purpose.
For girls because they donate 100% of the proceeds to fund the education of young girls in need. Concretely, the profits are invested in school equipment and coaches who offer home monitoring.
Their product symbolizes slow and fair fashion, their knitters symbolize solidarity and equal opportunity, and their mission is to support local work for global opportunities.
