Earthy / Woody scents

Earthy scents smell like the earth after a rain. They evoke wet soil and living things on the forest floor. For example, vetiver and patchouli. Woody is easier to recognize: these oils smell like wood!

Fresh scent

Fresh scents include the subfamilies of citrus, green plants, water and fruits. These aromas are considered to be refreshing scents.

Floral scents

Floral scent is, as indicated by its name, the scent that comes from flowers. It can be a single flower note or a combination of several. These scents are generally feminine, soft and subtly sweet.

Spicy scents

Here are some words often used to describe spicy fragrances: warm, sensual, mysterious, exotic, sultry, ... Spicy notes are part of a blend that forms a spicy character profile and, through its power and complexity, can transform a familiar floral aroma into a high-level floral composition.
