Born in Venezuela in 1990 and raised in Montpellier, Alexis Grasset is a French illustrator and printmaker now based in Nantes.
His work revolves around drawing and printed images, often created using stencil techniques before being transformed into screen prints or risographs. Shapes, colors and geometric compositions play an important role in his visual language.
After studying at the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg, Alexis developed a strong interest in printmaking and self-publishing, which continues to shape his practice today.
In 2020, he co-founded Projéta, a collective studio in Nantes where artists share equipment, knowledge and creative space dedicated to printed image.
Alongside his own artistic work, he regularly shares his skills through workshops and demonstrations, keeping the spirit of printmaking alive and accessible.
