The Ananda .02 earrings are from the new AYM collection made of 100% recycled plastic, from a mix of oceanic plastic collected by the Danish coast and household plastic. The collection is made locally, to minimize the footprint we leave behind, in collaboration with A Circular Design Studio.

The earrings exhibit captivating and modern graphic forms, all inspired by the rich architecture and colors of Copenhagen. 

Sine, the founder, created the collection during the lockdown, and as the borders around were closing down, it suddenly made sense to work and get inspiration locally. So this earrings collection is crafted in Denmark and the inspiration came naturally from walking the (empty) streets of Copenhagen, appreciating the city and the diversity go the colorful areas and buildings vs. the very serious architecture. Beton Blox is inspired by the new building for design and architecture, it is very heavy but at the same time almost floating over the canal running through the city. Palads Pop is inspired by an old building with a cinema, and it pops up with its playful pastel colors in the middle of the city sounded by manly office buildings. And Tivoli Confetti is naturally inspired by the colors of the attractions in the Tivoli Gardens.

When I discovered the AYM collection, I immediately fell in love with the marbled effect of their earrings but also with the choice of colors! I chose the Anais earrings because they are small and therefore can be worn in any circumstance.
