Born in Venezuela in 1990, Alexis Grasset grew up in Montpellier, France, where his passion for art took root. After studying in Paris, he joined the École Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Strasbourg (now Haute École des Arts du Rhin), where he developed his love for drawing, printmaking, and self-publishing.
Since 2015, Alexis has been based in Nantes, where he co-founded Projéta in 2020—a collaborative studio space shared with eleven fellow artists. At the heart of his practice lies the creation of original drawings and screen-printed editions. He also shares his expertise through workshops and demonstrations, both at Projéta and beyond.
