The person behind Polydactyl is Randi. She lives in Philadelphia and has always been interested in art and cats. She used to make toys and costumes for her cats growing up. Both of her grandmothers were artistic and she comes from a long line of family businesses.
She has been designing cat toys since 2009. She completed the Pet Product Design and Marketing program offered by the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, earning a certificate in 2012. Her goal is to create toys that can't be easily replicated, especially when it comes to fabrics: almost all of their fabrics are custom, making the toys truly unique!
