Born in 1983 in Saint-Étienne (France), François lives and works in the south-east of France, not far from the sea.
At the age of 20, he crossed the Atlantic by sailboat, departing from the island of Saint Martin. Along the way he stopped in the Azores and Gibraltar before arriving in Port-Camargue.
After returning, he devoted himself to his passion for plants, particularly cactus and mandrakes.
Self-taught, he is both a photographer and illustrator and, quite naturally, a friend of plants, which he grows, grafts and collects.
