Re-leaf is my curated collection of joyful finds from independent creators around the world. Handmade pieces, thoughtful designs, bold colors—all produced locally by the people who make them. No mass production outsourced overseas. Just objects with soul, made to bring joy to your everyday life.
Re-leaf was born on September 12, 2019, but the spark hit a year earlier—New York, September 2018.
Something about that city cracked everything open. Its noise, its light, its creative chaos. I came back to Brussels with one clear thought: "It's time to build something that feels like me."
JB believed in it instantly. He's always been passionate about cannabis, while I'm obsessed with interiors. We wanted to merge our two worlds—his love for the leaf, my need for relief. That's how Re-leaf was born: a play on words that captured both our passions.
At first, we sold smoking pipes and cannabis accessories alongside design objects. It made sense to us, but it never quite caught on in Europe the way we hoped. So we slowly shifted focus—though you'll still find a few pieces from that era on the site, little reminders of where we started.
What stuck? The name. The idea that home should make you feel good—really good. And the belief that beautiful objects can be your everyday high.

In 2018, when we moved into our flat in Uccle, we made our first bold move with color—painting three IKEA IVAR cabinets in lilac.
It wasn't an obvious choice. It felt a bit risky, even. But we went for it together.
They're still here. Still lilac. Still perfect.
That color never got old. It was our gateway into realizing that color isn't just decoration—it changes how you feel in a space. It quietly shaped everything that came next, becoming the soul of Re-leaf. What started as a hesitant experiment with three cabinets grew into a full-blown love affair with bold hues, playful palettes, and objects that make you smile just by looking at them.
I'm Stephanie—the one hunting, curating, and digging the internet for hidden treasures. I look for pieces that make you do a double-take, objects that feel alive, colors that shift your mood.
JB is the structure behind the chaos, the commercial brain, the balance. He's been away for a while but slowly coming back—because Re-leaf has always been our shared story.
You'll find mostly handmade pieces by small independent creators from around the world, alongside thoughtfully designed items—all produced locally by their makers. It's a conscious choice I've made over time.
A few older items remain from before this shift, but every new addition respects this commitment: no brands outsourcing production halfway across the world for cheaper manufacturing. Just honest, local craftsmanship.
